Founded in the early 2000s to address the country’s serious housing shortage, 8990 Housing Development Corporation set out to provide affordable, low-cost housing for Filipinos. Driven by the vision that every Filipino deserves a home, the company introduced Deca Homes, a series of housing projects designed for low- to middle-income earners without compromising quality. Over time, 8990 expanded nationwide, consistently delivering quality homes and enhanced services. Their growth also led to the creation of mid-rise condominiums under the Urban Deca Homes brand and high-rise developments under Urban Deca Tower. To further enhance convenience for residents, the company launched partnerships, including a mall and the DECA Homenet internet and cable service. In 2013, 8990 Holdings Inc. gained formal recognition and achieved an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in May 2014.
